BASIC PERFORMANCE

The thermal properties of Knauf Insulation products act as a barrier to the outside elements to limit heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer through your roofs, walls, and floor. Buildings stay at a comfortable temperature all year-round.

 

Knauf Insulation products will improve the acoustic performance of the building in which they have been installed by absorbing the transfer of unwanted noise from external sources and between adjoining rooms, helping to create a peaceful and quiet buildings.

 

Engineered for longevity Our DriTherm® Technology boasts silicone treatment, providing moisture-repellent protection designed to withstand high humidity and ensure long-lasting performance and durability. Controlling moisture not only can help prevent mold, fungi, and bacteria growth, but also reduce condensation and maintain insulation thermal performance.

 

Knauf Insulation is certified as non-combustible and will not contribute to fire spread.

 

DIFFERENTIATION

ECOSE® Technology is a sustainable, bio-based binder with no added formaldehyde. The natural, earthy brown colour comes from no added dyes or colours. Knauf Insulation products have Declare Red List Free label where 100% of the ingredients are disclosed and the product do not contain any Red List chemicals.

 

Knauf Insulation glasswool is supported by Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold as an outstanding material according to low VOCs and Indoor Air Quality Emissions certification.

 

ECOSE® is low-carbon, low-VOC and delivers proven sustainability performance. Compare to traditional binders, ECOSE® has a low carbon footprint as it is predominantly plant-based and is made from rapidly renewable sources, making it a low-carbon binder and reducing the embodied carbon of our products that use it.

 

Our insulation is made from up to 80% recycled glass. Our new generation furnace uses more grades of glass than traditional glasswool furnaces, taking more waste out of our environmental.
